Kicks off 📚 September 14th 🗓️

You’ve whispered.

shouted it. manifested it.

“THIS IS THE YEAR I WRITE MY BOOK.”

A vintage typewriter with pink, purple, and white flowers and green leaves arranged on top and around it.

But then… life happens.
And discipline?Accountability?

Nowhere to be found.

Every. Damn. Year.

Sound familiar? Feeling a little called out?

Good. You’re in the right place

Stack of books with various colorful flowers and green foliage arranged around and on top of them.

You’re already somebody’s

favourite writer.

Your words matter more than you realise.

Your name is already on the tip of someone’s tongue when they’re asked for a book recommendation.

The only catch?

You haven’t written it yet.

Maybe you’ve started and stopped.

Maybe you’ve gotten stuck.

Maybe you’re second-guessing everything — the structure, the characters, the story itself.

Deep down, you know the book is in you.

You just need the support to get it out.

YOU?

LET’S CHECK.

A man in a business suit sitting on a pink chair, reading a newspaper with his face obscured.

MAYBE YOU’VE CONSIDERED DROPPING

£100k ON A WRITING DEGREE,

COURSES, OR A WRITING COACH.

But maybe you don’t care about pricey degrees, completing £10k courses from some author you’ve never heard of or getting a coach to critique the pages you’re yet to write.

You’re here because you don’t just want to write — you’re ready to actually do the writing.

And you’re looking for a community that lifts you up, rather than tearing you down.

You want to write a fiction novel (any genre — you’ll find your people once the doors open).

You’re willing to show up, put in the work, and see it through.

You’re open to feedback — and happy to support others along the way.

If you’re ready to stop waiting, start messy, and say YES to your most creative year yet…

This is where it begins.

THE ONLY THINg

MISSING? YOU.

Fight Your Fears

  • You can pay for the whole year in monthly instalments of £99.  These plans are limited and may not be available at the time of launch.

The annual package is a steal of a deal: £993 for the whole package.

You can choose to pay in full or split the payments into two.

If you’d like additional payment support, you can spread the cost into more manageable chunks by using PayPal, Klarna, or ClearPay at checkout.

You can choose whichever suits your situation best.

You can pay with any major debit or credit card. Payments made outside the UK may be subject to credit card fees and currency conversion fees. These are not set by Studio Sonder, but rather by our payment platform, Stripe.

  • Each sprint phase (term) is designed to keep you moving, hold you accountable, and get you to a final, polished novel.

    But the full 12 months?

    That’s where the magic happens.

More time. More growth. More breakthroughs (including the ones you didn’t know you needed).

Your novel, your call. But if you’re in, go all in and use the 12 months to get your novel in the best shape possible (and have a bloody good time along the way).

Can I pick and choose the terms I need?

All writers are required to participate in all three terms.

We umm-ed and err-ed about this one, and after much deliberation, we believe that there will be too much disruption to our writer community if we allow people to hop in at different stages.

However, the Year of the Novel is flexible in terms of your time commitment.

There will be daily co-writing sessions that you can attend, as well as monthly masterclasses for each term (all will be recorded for you to watch later if you can’t attend live).

However, the beauty of the community is that it is open 24/7, 365 days a year.

No need to worry if you have other commitments like holidays or work, try to join as much as you can, but by all means, manage your writing process your way!

I’ve already started my novel; can I still join?

Absolutely. No matter where you’re at (just getting started, halfway through, or sitting on a messy first draft), you’ll benefit from 12 months of structure, accountability, and support from fellow writers and experienced pros.

  • How the 12-month Year of The Novel writing program works:

It’s split into three structured terms:

Term 1: Planning & story development (so you don’t get 20k words in and realise you hate your plot).

Term 1 kicks off on 14th September 2025

Term 2: The first draft (aka, writing at full speed without your inner critic breathing down your neck).

Term 2 kicks off on 6th January 2026

Term 3: Peer reviews & editing (because you will miss a plot hole the size of a crater).

Term 3 kicks off on April 7th 2026

You will receive a detailed schedule via email and within the community prior to the sprint commencing.

  • Oh, just:

    • A solid plan, a finished novel, and an actual chance of making this dream real.

    • Masterclasses with published authors, agents, and industry pros.

    • PhD-level creative writing guidance (without selling a kidney for a degree).

    • Daily co-writing sessions to keep you accountable.

    • A community of 50 writers so you’re not yelling into the void alone.

    • Unlimited peer & expert feedback because “it’s good!” isn’t helpful.

    • Accountability partners & structured feedback loops to keep you moving.

    • Access to the full Studio Sonder creative community for a year (when you purchase the whole sprint upfront).

And best of all? A completed novel.

  • Think of them as virtual writing cafés. Jump in, get words down, feel productive, repeat. And for feedback?

You’ll have unlimited access to peer and expert reviews and structured feedback loops to improve your work (not just second-guess yourself to oblivion). The dedicated Year of the Novel writing sprint, classes, resources, and community space will be privately hosted within our Mighty Networks platform, which you can access via your web browser or Mighty’s dedicated mobile app.

We will be hosting three dedicated co-writing sessions throughout the day, allowing you to hop in and out as needed. These are camera on/off and mic off sessions to get words written!

Whatever suits your schedule or your location. And don’t worry, you’re not expected to attend every session - they’re there to help you stick to your writing goals when you need them.

  • Yes, if your goal is to actually write a novel (and not just talk about one for three years).

This isn’t a hand-holding, teacher-led course. It’s a practical, year-long sprint where you learn the art of being a working writer by doing the work—consistently, with structure, accountability, and support.

You’ll be joined by our sprint leaders: Dr. Demi (PhD in Creative Writing) and Anna (copywriter, marketer and professional ghostwriter), who aren’t just guiding the process but also writing their novels alongside you.

You’ll also be surrounded by 50+ writers from all backgrounds and genres, there to offer support, motivation, and honest feedback as you go.

Throughout the year, you’ll get access to exclusive live masterclasses led by everyone from university lecturers to editors, agents, publishers, and published authors—real people working in the industry who know exactly what it takes to finish (and sell) a book.

No grades. No fluff. Just your novel, written with the kind of support you wish you'd had years ago.

  • Nope. Whether this is your first attempt or your tenth, we’ve got you.

And don’t stress about genre; when we open the doors, you’ll naturally connect with other writers in similar spaces who can help, inspire, and guide you.

  • You will—and that’s why we exist. You won't be left floundering between structured phases, accountability partners, and the community.

Additionally, these built-in breaks are designed to prevent burnout before it occurs.

  • It’s better to be a creator something than a hater of something.

And if you hate something, create something.

    Give yourself permission to create.

    Accept yourself.

    Accept where you’re at.

Accept creating something from nothing is not easy. But it’s worth it.

We’re not here to judge; we’re here to support you through every step of your creative journey.

  • Easy. You’ve got options:

    Email your questions/thoughts/ideas/worries to demi@studiosondercreative.com

Give Demi a day or so to reply.

She’s probably mid-coffee and typing furiously.
